Happy New Year Josh! Great video thank you. This is the most basic example of roles based features assignment based on roles based access. Awesome capability.
I would like to know if it’s possible to insert an image (download) directly in the body of the message? (not insert image by link)
Thank you
Hi,
I would suggest using this plugin; which I co-author:

Excellent. This was a big help to see your video on how things work.
One question. Is it possible to combine the custom roles and WordPress roles so we could use and create custom roles or WordPress roles (as needed) from the one screen instead of requiring us to choose one or the other under the global tab? Just curious?
Thanks again,
Gary Gordon
Thanks Gary,
You know… as I was recording the video.. I thought the very same thing to myself. I just didn’t think the question would come up this quickly.
Unfortunately, not currently. I will look into making this a possibility. Things get very “muddy” in the code when trying to cross-reference all these roles.. and display the appropriate page options as necessary.
But yes.. I do see the advantages of being able to do both.. and I will re-evaluate my approach.
