WordPress Profile Editor

The profile editor is where users can add relevant information about their profile; typically shown on the author page. It may also be added (via a plugin or theme option) to the bottom of each post created (This article was written by…).

The default WordPress profile editor is quite simple. If you want to allow your users to be able to include links, images or other rich text; they are going to need to know html.

Providing your content authors with the ability to add rich text to their profile section will not only make the process more enjoyable for them; but it will also spruce up your content pages with more images, links and more rich content.

Visit the plugin options page -> General tab. Check the option to enable the “Profile Editor”.

Then, revisit your admin profile page and see the new editor.
